And the teachers were so understanding with my daughter who had just finished K last year by offering her a variety of things to do during the day so she’s happy and motivated all day. along with some fun robot races, chess competitions, and engineering creations. I was amazed at the amount of fun my kids had at the camp last year – park trips, board games, etc. ![]() The teachers and the founder are always available and are happy to listen to you and your child to make it a great experience for everyone. They are stem-focused, in a very nurturing environment. ![]() It’s run by some very passionate people and it clearly shows. They also went for summer camp most of the summer last year and want to go here only this year. His admirers range from parents supporting him at school board meetings, to former students, to a custodian at South Junior High. “Gifted students will probably do well wherever they go,” he explained, “but sometimes they just need some special thinking skills and help” to make the most of their talents. “They’re not afraid to make intelligent remarks,” which, he added, is important at every level but especially during the middle years. “You see a tremendous growth in students in these classes where they all know they’re gifted,” he said.
